I work with individuals and groups to help clients better understand how they can work with their bodies and their minds to successfully achieve better lifestyles.

Making lifestyle changes requires things to change. Our brains have evolved in such a way that change is often regarded as a threat. I teach clients how the brain works and how you can implement change in ways to support your goals without triggering unhelpful responses.

In this modern world, food is easily available and our relationship with food is not always appropriate. Our minds can link our emotions, our confidence, to our relationship with foods in ways that negatively impact us. In different people the response can be either weight gain or weight loss. I work with clients to break the negative loops created by the brain so that we can restore a more healthy approach to food and how we respond.

We are complex beings, and our bodies and minds are not well evolved for the structures of modern life. Modern neuroscience is constantly developing and supporting our knowledge of the mind/body dynamics and solution focused hypnotherapy is ideally placed to support people wanting to work and live better and more healthily.
